The positions panel, partial closes, and closing out.
The bar under the chart has three tabs — Open, Orders and Closed — and on the right, your balance, equity and profit and loss.
Figure | Meaning |

Balance | Your money if you closed nothing. |
Equity | Your money if you closed everything right now. |
Open P&L | What your live positions are worth at this moment. |
Realised | What you have actually banked this session. |
Watching equity move while balance stays still is the clearest picture of what you are carrying.
Closing
Close shuts the whole position at the current price.
Partial closes part of it — useful for testing whether taking half off at your first target and running the rest actually improves your results, which is easy to assume and rarely checked.
Trades do not rewind
Stepping the chart backwards does not undo a trade. Your record is your record.
This is on purpose: being able to rewind a losing trade out of existence would make every statistic in the app meaningless.
Automatic screenshots
When a trade closes, TradifyFX captures the chart as it looked, with your entry and exit marked. The picture is attached to the trade in your journal, so a month later you can see the setup rather than trying to remember it.
Turn it off in Settings → Backtesting if you would rather not.
