What is TradifyFX?
TradifyFX is a market simulator. It replays real historical price data candle by candle with the future hidden, so you can place trades against the past exactly as if it were happening live, then see every session measured. Nothing on TradifyFX involves real money, and nothing on it is financial advice.
Is this the same as a demo account?
No. A demo account makes you wait for the live market, so a year of screen time takes a year. TradifyFX replays history at your speed on any market and any date, so you can put a year of practice into a weekend.
Which markets can I backtest?
123 markets: 68 forex pairs, 18 stock indices, gold, silver, copper, oil, natural gas, agricultural commodities and government bonds. There are no individual shares and no crypto, and we would rather say so plainly than pretend otherwise.
How far back does the history go?
The major forex pairs replay from 2005. Gold starts in late 2008. Each market tells you where its own history begins, so you are never guessing whether the data is really there.
Which timeframes can I replay?
From 5-second candles up through 10, 15 and 30 seconds, every minute size from 1 to 45, hourly up to 12 hours, and daily, weekly and monthly. Seconds data goes back years, not days.
Can I practise a prop firm challenge?
Yes. Set a profit target, a daily loss limit and a maximum drawdown, and the rules are enforced trade by trade the way a real challenge enforces them. Break a rule at any moment and the run fails permanently. Reaching the target does not pass you on the spot either, because staying inside the rules to the end is the actual test.
Does it match the rules of the firm I want to apply to?
You can type in any numbers you like, and there are ready-made shapes for the common challenge structures plus five account sizes. TradifyFX is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any proprietary trading firm.
Can I watch more than one chart at once?
Up to four, on a single clock. They can be different pairs, or the same pair at different timeframes, and they all step forward together so nothing you see is ahead of anything else.
Do the candles print live, or all at once?
Your choice. Bar by bar shows each candle as a finished bar. Tick by tick grows the current candle minute by minute so you watch it form, with stops and targets checked all the way through.
Are spreads and costs included?
Yes, and they are on by default. Buys fill at the ask, sells at the bid, using a typical spread for each market. A backtest that ignores costs flatters you, and flattering numbers are the reason people blow up live accounts.
Are my drawings and indicators saved?
Yes, per strategy. Your chart layout, drawings and indicators come back when you return to that strategy. There is a save indicator in the toolbar so you can see it happen rather than hope.
What happens if my browser closes mid-session?
Your open positions, balance and clock are saved every few seconds. Reopen the strategy and you carry on from where you were, with your trades intact.
What does the journal record?
Every trade is logged the moment you close it: entry, exit, direction, size, hold time, how far it went against you and in your favour, why it closed, and a chart snapshot marked with your entry and exit. You can add notes, grade the trade, tag the habit behind it, and export the lot to a spreadsheet.
How is this different from a trading journal?
A journal records trades you have already taken. TradifyFX lets you take the trades in the first place, against real history, and then journals them for you automatically. You get the practice and the record from the same session.
Do I need to install anything?
No. TradifyFX runs in your browser. There is nothing to download and nothing to keep updated.
How much does it cost?
19.99 US dollars a month, or 199 a year, after a 7-day free trial. There is one plan and everything is in it: no feature tiers, no add-ons and no extra charge for more markets.
Do I need a card to start the free trial?
Yes. Your card is taken up front so the subscription can continue seamlessly if you keep it, but you are not charged during the 7 days. Cancel before day 7 and nothing is taken.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, from your account settings, without emailing anyone. Cancelling stops the next payment and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends. The full policy is in our Terms.
Is my trading data private?
Yes. Your sessions, trades, notes and chart snapshots are yours alone. Snapshots are stored privately and served through short-lived links, and deleting your account removes your data. The exception is a result card, which is only ever public because you chose to share it, and you can revoke it.
Do you have an AI coach?
It is built but not switched on yet, so do not subscribe expecting it today. When it launches it will review your sessions against the rules you set yourself. Everything else described on this page is live now.
